Carter Monroe
Carter Monroe lives, works, and writes in the provinces. He
is the author of a novel, Journey, and co-author (along
with Robert Canipe and Tim Peeler) of Writers on the Storm
- Stories, Observations, and Essays. His book of poetry,
Sittin' in with the Sun, was published by Rank Stranger
Press in December 2001. Recent poems have appeared in Poems
Niederngrasse, Poethia, Thunder Sandwich, and Third Lung Review.
Recent short fiction has appeared in The Dead Mule School
of Southern Literature. A self described cynic-in-recovery,
he backslides frequently.
